Creating exceptional writers, CreativeWriting is an all-inclusive narrative writing skills programme that develops in students a greater sense of language awareness and trains them in the fundamentals of writing impressive compositions.
(suitable for P1 to P6 students)
CreativeWriting instructs and guides your child to excel in composition writing. Your child will be explicitly taught the structured process of writing narratives. This includes the language features of narrative writing, as well as gaining an understanding of the crucial elements in writing a story that make the reader want to continue and enjoy reading it.
Equipped with a greater sense of language awareness, your child will produce addictively entertaining compositions through arresting introductions, gripping climaxes and captivating conclusions.

Small Class Sizes
LCentral guarantees small class sizes with a maximum of 10 students enrolled in any class. Small class sizes allow for maximum personal engagement and individual attention and feedback, while also facilitating active participation in group discussions, the communicative approach to learning, and the nurturing of oral communication skills.
MOE Assessment Criteria
LCentral rigorously applies MOE’s assessment criteria to evaluate your child’s strengths or areas for improvement. As the standard for measuring a student’s academic achievement, these guidelines are imparted to your child in every lesson, providing meaningful insight to accurately gauge their performance to help them achieve their personal best both at school and in examinations.
Our comprehensive WorkBooks are designed with teacher-guided activities that progressively develop your child’s essential language skills in a carefully scaffolded process that propels them to meet or exceed the learning outcomes for each respective primary level.
All CreativeWriting WorkBooks are embedded with values education and cultivate independent learning skills.
LCentral maintains high standards when monitoring and tracking students’ progress. Your child's individual performance is regularly recorded through a process of effective and systematic progress tracking.
Through ongoing outcomes-based assessments, teachers identify strengths and specific areas for improvement. The written comments (feedback) in WorkBooks guide your child to meet the learning outcomes as per the MOE Assessment Criteria, and also make the WorkBooks an ongoing record of the teaching and learning process that has taken place in the classroom.
With the combination of these effective methods of progress tracking, LCentral is able to provide comprehensive insights to you on your child’s progress, strengths and areas for improvement.
