Once they got home, Jake and Paul gave the puppy some food and water. The dog wolfed down its meal in seconds before giving a satisfied yelp.

They went to the address listed on the poster and the couple was delighted to see their beloved pet again. They offered the boys a reward of $100 but the boys politely declined.
Jake and Paul left with the satisfaction of knowing that they had made a difference in someone’s life. The puppy had been reunited with its family and they had played a part in it.
